The keto flu is that transitional time when you body is gearing up to burn fat after burning sugar for so long. It’s an adjustment period. Symptoms may appear after you get started.

On keto your body is healing, so you can lose burn fat the way nature intended. So before you start panicking, relax, try and make yourself comfortable, and give your body time to adjust to the new changes.

  • Eat healthy fats: avocados, nuts, eggs, cheese, and fatty fish. Eat until your full, not stuffed.

Knowing how to take care of your body and get into ketosis in a the most unobstructive way will increase your motivation to stay dedicated to keto for the long haul.

I suggest buying some products to have on hand before you start. Below are the symptoms and what you can do to avoid them:

I can’t stress the need for electrolytes enough. Carbs make you retain more water than fat. You’re eating less carbs. The water you release must be replaced.
